Getting Started with Rev Legal for Court Transcripts

Welcome to Rev! This guide will walk you through setting up your account, introduce you to our service options, and give you a tour of the platform.

 

Setting Up Your Account

  • Welcome Email: After creating your Rev account, you'll receive a welcome email.
  • Your Workspace Dashboard: Once logged in, you'll land on your workspace dashboard. This is your central hub for managing all your transcription projects.

 

Service Tiers

Rev offers four service tiers to meet your specific needs and timelines:

  • Instant Rough Draft: This AI-powered solution delivers a transcript in approximately 30 minutes. Ideal for quick references or internal drafts.
  • Human Rough Draft: Achieve 99% accuracy with a three-business-day turnaround. This option combines AI efficiency with human expertise.
  • Ready to Certify: For court-ready transcripts, our Ready to Certify service provides 99.6% accuracy within five business days, standard cover pages and formatting.
  • Ready to Certify Premium (enterprise only): Available as an enterprise-only option, these court-ready transcripts include cover pages, receive the highest level of proofing and quality, and can be customized to match your specific requirements. We can even use backup audio to create them.

 

Navigating Your Workspace

When you log in, you’ll find your workspace, which is where all of your files and folders are located. There are a few things you can do from the home screen: 

  • Place New Order: The "Order Legal Transcript" button is located at the top of the page, making it easy to start a new project.
  • File Management: Your workspace displays all your folders and files, both in progress and completed.
  • Organization: The left sidebar contains organizational tools to help you manage your projects efficiently.
  • Account and Support: The top right corner provides access to your account settings and support options.
