Can I get only a certain spot of my audio transcribed?

Sometimes you may need only a portion of an audio file transcribed. However, it is important to note that all charges are based on the entire runtime of the file, and we definitely don't want you to pay for anything you don't need.

While we're NOT able to honor start or stop times, you can trim your file before sending it to us so that only the portion you need is transcribed. To easily trim a file, you can use our free online audio trimmer and cutter

Below you will find steps and a visual tutorial for utilizing this tool:

  • Start by selecting the purple Upload button and uploading the file you wish to trim.
  • Once your file has been uploaded, you will see it displayed in a blue box with white bars on either side.
  • Click and drag the white bars to trim the desired sections off the beginning and end.
  • Once you have trimmed the file to your liking, you can select the Transcribe option to submit an order using your trimmed file or you can click the arrow icon to download the trimmed file directly.
