Notetaker
Rev Notetaker is an AI meeting assistant that automatically joins meetings on your behalf to take detailed notes and create summaries with action items. By connecting your Google and Microsoft calendars, the Rev Notetaker meeting bot will automatically join any Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Webex meeting in your calendar. Whether you're late or unable to attend, the Notetaker will still join and take notes for you, capturing a full transcript of the meeting in real-time and enabling collaboration on the live transcript. At the conclusion of the meeting, Rev Notetaker generates a summary that includes the topics discussed and follow-up action items. Additionally, users can ask the Notetaker Chatbot questions and request follow-up emails to generate insights and complete tasks efficiently.
Note: This feature is available to our subscription plan users; excluding Rev Max.
Once your meetings are added to your Meeting Hub, you can add Notetaker to join the meeting. Notetaker will record and transcribe meetings that it is added to.
Click on the toggle next to Add Rev for any upcoming meeting to add Notetaker.
Meetings that have already been added will have a purple toggle. You can also click on the toggle again to remove Notetaker.
If you have auto-join enabled in your settings, Notetaker will automatically join your meetings without the need to manually toggle on the meeting. Which meetings are automatically joined depends on your meeting hub settings.
Once you add Notetaker, you will see a confirmation pop-up at the bottom of the page.
When you add Notetaker to a recurring meeting, you will see an option to schedule Notetaker. Auto-join settings do not apply to recurring meetings, allowing you to set up joining preferences for each type of meeting.
Some meeting platforms require approval for attendees not on the original invite list to be accepted into the meeting. If your Notetaker request to join is denied or ignored, the meeting will not be captured in your Rev account.
Transcripts
You can access your transcripts from meetings that Notetaker has joined by clicking on My Files on the left menu.
