AI Prompts, Templates and AI Chat

Rev’s AI features help you understand what’s in a recording without reading every word or listening to every minute. In the Transcript Editor you can use two tools on a single file:

  • AI Templates: ready-made instructions that create a summary or analysis in one click.
  • AI Chat: ask your own questions about the recording and get answers right away.

To work with several files at once, use Multi-File Insights.

AI Templates

Click any transcribed file to open it in the Transcript Editor. The editor opens on the AI Templates tab, which is where AI analysis starts. To go to the transcript itself, click the Transcript tab.

AI templates are ready-made instructions that turn your transcript into a specific output, such as a summary, key points, action items or a legal analysis. You don’t have to work out what to ask. Rev suggests templates that suit the kind of recording you uploaded.
