Rev offers speech-to-text service for English audio/video content as well as other languages, depending on which service you order.
Transcription
At this time we only offer English-to-English Human Transcription services, though we may add other languages in the future. We do not translate non-English audio into English.
If you submit a file that's entirely in a different language, we will cancel that file and issue a full refund for it.
If you submit a mixed language file that has non-English dialogue but also has some English in it, we will transcribe the English and note the other language with a timestamp, but the other language will not be transcribed.
Please note that if there is an interpreter speaking in the file, the non-English will not be timestamped.
Captions
At this time we only offer captioning for English and Spanish source videos, though we may add other languages in the future. Dialogue spoken in other languages will not be included in your completed file.
If you submit a file that's entirely in a different language, we will cancel that file and issue a full refund for it.
If you submit a mixed language file that contains non-English audio but also has some English, we will caption the English and note the other language with an atmospheric such as (speaking in a foreign language), but the other language will not be captioned. Please note that we will not capture non-English language even if English subtitles are present on screen or a translation has been provided. We can only caption English audio for English caption orders and Spanish audio for Spanish caption orders.
Subtitles

The language you select must match the language spoken in your file. Any spoken languages other than the selected language will not be captured and if you select a language that is not spoken in your audio/video then your file will be incomplete. We do not translate spoken dialogue in your files.
