How do I place an order using a URL?

Uploading files straight from the web is easy with Rev. We accept all major video file formats and can output caption files in the format you need for your system. Keep in mind that the URL must be publicly accessible and downloadable in order to work. We cannot accept password-protected or private links.

Step 1: Navigating to Subtitles screen

Visit https://www.rev.com/checkout/subtitlefiles to begin a subtitle order.

Step 2: Create Your Subtitle Order

The site prompts you to select the source of your video. Since we’re uploading a file from a public web address, you’ll choose the center option, Share a link to a public web address.  Click the red button that says Paste a URL.

Step 3: Paste URLs

A screen will pop up for you to paste the URLs to your public videos. Simply copy the entire URL directly from the address bar on your browser. Then paste the URL into the window.

Multiple videos? No problem! Make sure you hit the enter button and paste each URL on a separate line. At this time, if you are providing a URL during checkout, the file in the link cannot be more than 5 GB.
