Rev Now Offers Non-English Human Captions!

Rev is excited to now offer non-English human captions to our customers. What does this mean? You can have your Spanish videos captioned into Spanish, or your French videos captioned into French, and so on, and receive them back in a format you can upload to most online platforms or embed into your video. 

What Languages are Offered?


Spanish (Latin)



Portuguese (Brazil)



How Do I Place an Order?

Placing an order is simple. Navigate to the Services tab, and select Video Captions & Subtitles, then select English Closed Captions. Screenshot (169).png

From there, click the black Get Captions button, and then either upload your video file or paste the URL for your video.

Once you have uploaded your file, click on the dropdown under Speaker's Language to select the language you need. *Note that after you've selected a non-English language, any add-on services will become unavailable*

What's the Cost?

Cost varies, depending on the language you choose. 

  • Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese are $4.67/video minute
  • French and German are $5.26/video minute

What's the Turnaround Time?

Turnaround time for non-English captions is typically 5 business days. 

What Do I Do if I have Quality Concerns or Questions about my Non-English Order?

Please reach out to our support team by clicking on the chat bubble, or emailing us at and we'll be happy to address any quality concerns or answer any questions. *Please note that errors must be called to attention within 5 business days of receiving your order* When reaching out with quality concerns, please provide as much detail as possible about the noted errors. Corrections may take up to 5 business days to complete. Orders with files that are uploaded in the wrong language i.e., English will be cancelled and fully refunded.

What Formats are Offered?

Currently, the following formats are offered: SRT, VTT, and EBU-STL with more formats coming
